Assistant General Manager (Therapy Lead) - Medical Affairs 

Job Description

Job Purpose:

As the Therapy Lead in the Medical Affairs function, the incumbent will lead the medical strategy and scientific engagement activities for the assigned therapeutic area or region. This role will involve overseeing the provision of scientific support to the marketing and brand management teams, fostering strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and driving medico-marketing initiatives. The Therapy Lead will also play a key leadership role in shaping the medical strategy to align with business goals while ensuring the execution of medico-marketing activities to support product promotion aligned with ethical practices.

Key Qualifications:
Education: MD, MBBS, an MBA or additional management qualifications will be an advantage.

Experience:
7 - 10 years of experience in Medical Affairs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive experience in providing scientific support to commercial functions, medico-marketing activities, and managing KOL relationships.
Proven track record of developing and implementing medical strategies aligned with business objectives in the pharmaceutical industry.
Therapeutic Area Expertise: Prior experience in managing medical affairs in key therapeutic areas such as Dermatology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, etc.
