As we continue to strengthen our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) framework across our offices, we are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our EHS function and drive a culture of prevention, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Role Purpose
To lead and strengthen EHS initiatives across all office locations by conducting safety audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and delivering effective risk assessment and HAZOP training programs. The role will also drive continuous improvement in environmental health and safety performance and preparedness across the organization.
Position Details
Job Title: Senior Officer / Executive (Depending on interview performance, experience, and knowledge)
Department: Corporate - Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in EHS management, safety audits, HIRA/HAZOP facilitation, fire safety, and compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Environment, or Occupational Safety from a reputed institute.
Certification/Diploma: In Industrial or Occupational Safety & Health (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across office locations to identify and mitigate EHS risks or non-conformities.
- Develop and implement EHS policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead and facilitate Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) and HAZOP studies; deliver hands-on training for employees at all levels.
- Plan, execute, and document fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, and first-response exercises to ensure readiness for emergencies.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and occupational hazards; conduct root cause analysis, prepare reports, and drive corrective actions.
- Conduct awareness programs, toolbox talks, and EHS training sessions to strengthen internal capacity and safety culture.
- Maintain complete and accurate safety records, statutory registers (ROR), and documentation related to audits, inspections, and trainings.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, and auditors for safety inspections, certifications, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure the availability, upkeep, and periodic testing of all safety equipment; recommend upgrades where necessary.
- Oversee work permit systems and ensure adherence to EHS standards across operations.
- Promote a preventive, cost-efficient, and compliance-driven EHS culture within all offices.
- Implement cost-saving measures related to EHS management without compromising safety standards.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to office and operational environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to conduct trainings, investigations, and develop compliance documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with EHS management software will be an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple sites, with up to 50% travel required
