IT Finance Lead

Job Description

Role description: The role is responsible for business partnering Finance function under the wider digital transformation organization. This includes conceptualizing, driving and implementing digital transformation initiatives in the area of finance. The candidate will work with a team of professionals, collaborate with various departments, and ensure the effective utilization of IT technologies to drive efficiency, innovation, and growth.

Key responsibilities:
•    Partner with the finance teams to manage end-to-end digital portfolio and all IT applications for the finance function. 
•    Bring thought leadership to translate objectives into digital strategy and roadmap for finance function. Owns short- and long-term roadmaps for the sub-platform with a clearly defined migration path.
•    Conceptualize, design, and deliver IT systems as per strategy.
•    End-to-end accountability for service continuity, quality, resilience, and end-user NPS.
•    Ensure all applications are designed using ‘secure by design’ principles by working collaboratively with cyber security team.
•    Manage and control the project and support budgets with a specific focus on continuous review and optimization of the TCO.
•    Develop a high-performing team - envisage and hire/nurture right team to deliver the ambition. 

Skills required:
•    Functional Skills

  • Deep understanding and experience of procurement processes – Record to Report R2R (including month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing), Purchase to Pay P2P, Taxation, Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
  • Experience of leading atleast one E2E digital transformation of finance
  • Experience across a range of companies with a strong consumer focus, combined with an outstanding communication and leadership skills, particularly strong in liaising between business and technology organization.
  • Business acumen to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Project management expertise to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.

•    Technical Skills

  • Deep experience in SAP HANA FICO modules, FP&A solutions like Anaplan etc,
  • Hands-on experience with on premise and cloud solutions configuration and implementation. Experience in design and deployment of Digital Finance solutions.
  • Extensive technical knowledge to help decide on escalated troubleshooting issues across domains.
