Role: Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager (Depending on interview performance, experience, and knowledge)
Department: Finance & Accounts
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA from a reputed institute (strong academic background preferred)
Candidate Profile & Experience
- PQE with hands-on, end-to-end export management experience, preferably from a recognized Five-Star Export House
- Strong expertise in RBI regulations, statutory compliances, and export incentive schemes
- Proficient in presentation, execution, and strategic planning to drive export finance initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead full-spectrum export operations with cross-functional coordination
Key Deliverables
Financial Performance & Forex Management
Collaborate with Senior Management to establish export financial targets, assess new market opportunities, and evaluate business viability
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and revenue projections for international markets
Manage Forex exposure, currency hedging, forward contracts, and risk mitigation strategies
Create and maintain detailed budgets, track performance, and implement corrective actions
Conduct profitability analysis of export transactions, new country entries, and product expansions
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
Establish internal controls ensuring compliance with Pharma industry standards, RBI guidelines, FEMA, and global trade regulations
Maintain expertise in export documentation: LC, BGs, Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, COO, e-BRC, EDPMS closures
Ensure adherence to Foreign Trade Policy schemes: RoDTEP, Duty Drawback, EPCG, Advance Authorization, SEIS
Develop efficient processes for real-time documentation, submission, and closure with authorities/banks
Drive proactive audits and compliance checks to minimize penalties and delays
Internal Stakeholder Alignment
Partner with EXIM, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and Treasury teams for smooth export execution
Support product launches in new international markets with financial structuring and feasibility studies
Build coordination with Legal and Tax teams for cross-border tax structuring and export incentives
Mentor and upskill team members on export finance processes, trade finance instruments, and compliance requirements
External Stakeholder Management
Develop and nurture strategic relationships with banks, CHAs, trade finance partners, export credit agencies (ECGC), and customs authorities
Engage with DGFT, Export Promotion Councils, and Government agencies to leverage incentive schemes and policy support
Negotiate competitive trade finance terms with financial institutions to optimize working capital and credit utilization
Digitization, Process Excellence & Talent Development
Drive digitization and automation in export finance processes (EDI, e-documents, ERP-based trade finance modules)
Implement dashboard-based MIS on export receivables, forex exposure, incentive tracking, and compliane
Lead process simplification, standardization, and automation projects to strengthen controls and efficiency
Champion talent development initiatives in trade finance, forex management, and compliance
Benchmark and adopt global best practices in export finance and trade operations
